Places of interest
There are many places that one can visit in Mumbai. The ones close to the venue of the Conference are: The Gateway of India, The Prince of Wales Museum, the Haji Ali mausoleum and the Hanging Gardens. You can also take a pleasant walk on the Marine Drive promenade and view the beautiful Queen's necklace (series of lights along the sea) late in the evenings.

Things to do

Most tourists love to experience the quaint street shopping in Mumbai. The Colaba Causeway is a shopping paradise close to the venue of the Conference. You might also be interested to shop for handicrafts at the Cottage Industries Emporium near Apollo Bunder , close to The Gateway.

Airport to hotel transfer
In case you opt for the Deluxe Sea View room you may have to engage a taxi cab for your transfer from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport to Hotel Trident Nariman Point (around 27 Kms / 1 hour travel time). Pre-paid air-conditioned taxi cab services can be availed at the airports (both international and domestic). The usual taxi cab charges for this distance are around Rs1,000 (USD 20-25).
